In order to stand out from the crowd, Brookside strives to follow the mantra of People, Process, Product: always have the best people employed, maintain a well-founded process that will always meet clients’ needs, and, above all, produce a product that is second to none. Each day, every member of the Brookside team undertakes the task of bringing their very best and we are tirelessly working towards bettering ourselves in every aspect. Although Brookside is newly established, having begun accepting clients in 2016, there is a combined 25 years of experience in landscaping being brought to the table. This has enabled us to get off the ground running from the beginning and continue to gain momentum as we move into our next projects. Meet our team below!

Brookside Team

Adam Goit

Owner

As a child, Adam loved playing in the dirt which ultimately grew into a passion for landscaping. He now has more than 20 years of managing projects at any level. He attends seminars and classes across the country to continue his education so he may implement new techniques in sustainable landscaping and water feature applications.

Prior to Brookside, he served in the United States Marine Corps reserve as a heavy equipment operator. During his six years of service, Adam deployed to Iraq in 2005 and attended construction management courses at Olympic College and Central Washington University.

During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Randi and their two children, Lana and Dean; and two dogs, Hank and Maci. Adam was born and raised right here in Bremerton, WA.

“Every Breath You Take” by the Police was the #1 Billboard song the year Adam was born.

Corey

Crew Lead

Corey joined Brookside in the Spring of 2022 as a crew member and quickly progressed to a lead role within a year. In his previous occupation, Corey acquired horticulture expertise by completing a Plant Amnesty course, which enabled him to excel as a fine gardener and landscaper, skillfully managing the pruning and maintenance of plants.

After joining our team, he expanded his proficiency by becoming certified as an Aquascape Water Feature Laborer and then Foreman. His particular passion lies in constructing landing steps and ponds for our esteemed clients. When asked about his motivation for working at Brookside Landscape and Design, he expressed his satisfaction in continuously honing his knowledge within the landscaping industry, all while being a part of a remarkable company that genuinely prioritizes care. Additionally, Corey values the chance to establish connections with diverse individuals through his work.

Corey is happily married to his wife, Cheyenne, and they have a daughter named Danielle. They share their home with a feline companion as well as an adorable axolotl, a type of salamander. Pup stands as his favorite band, while the year of his birth in Bremerton, WA coincided with Elton John’s “Candle in the Wind” taking the top spot on the Billboard charts.

Scott

Service Technician

Scott joined our team at Brookside in August 2023 and assumed the position of service technician. With a background as an irrigation installer and horticulturist, he brings valuable expertise to our company. Scott takes immense joy in working on a diverse range of installations, particularly those related to irrigation systems, lighting, landscaping, and ponds.

One aspect that Scott values greatly is our company’s unwavering commitment to providing high-quality services. As a proud member of Brookside, a certified Aquascape contractor known for its excellence, he is thankful for the chance to enhance his knowledge base and skills by collaborating with a talented and experienced crew. This is an aspect that Scott truly appreciates and is grateful for every day.

Outside of work, he is a proud dog owner and has a fondness for Tenacious D, which is his favorite band. Interestingly, the #1 Billboard song in the year he was born in southern California was “Faith” by George Michael.

Cevi

Office Manager

Cevi joined the team in 2022 as our Office Manager, bringing over 20 years of office experience with her from previous positions as a Program Analyst and Medical Scheduler. She provides administrative support anywhere from assisting customers with inquiries or scheduling consultations to updating our computer systems. She’s inspired by the beautiful water features and relaxing outdoor spaces our crews create for our clients.

She enjoys outdoor adventures with her husband Josh and is obsessed with her two rescued dogs, Rusty and Mya. When she’s not outside, she’s probably crafting or taking pictures of her dogs.
